Hmmm, home brew cabs, home brew crossovers--do I detect a new fad destined to be the next big thing since bell bottoms and the Archies?

Anyone here know who this is? He has no feedback score on Audiogon--hope he has some kind of references such as great feedback on ebay for selling home made crossovers/being a former Altec employee etc. A score of 0 feedback doesn't instill much confidence...... Although of course even good feedback doesn't mean he knows what he's doing--but hopefully he does. Now lets see, we've got the home brew cabinet guy, this crossover guy, Paul and Debbie Darst with the foams, GPA with the drivers.... What's next, someone building new 811B's (and being sued by Sparkomatic):doh:?

Since the schematics to most of these crossovers are readily available, seems like these wouldn't be too difficult to build on your own--same goes for the cabs if you have the time/tools/know-how.....

BTW, $599 for a crossover ---OUCH!!! If this is a member here--sorry for that last comment (ouch)....
